BrytonPick Review – lose the floss!

So it may seem a strange review, but I was really excited to try the BrytonPick. I am not a big fan of flossing so I was happy to try out a different method than traditional floss.

BrytonPicks have a thin, flexible  stainless steel tip on each end. This is a bit scary to use at first. However, after a couple of times it is very easy to use. Personally, I think it is easier to use than floss since you don’t nee to use both hands. I also felt like I had more control of the BrytonPick than I do using traditional floss. You teeth “feel” like you have just flossed.

Cool factor, these last for 30 days. They come in different colors. Also, you can carry them with you in a  travel package (thinner than your credit card) just slip them into your purse or wallet. Now you can use them discretly anywhere you go. The stainless steel is also germ resistant! Use wipe or rinse off after each use and return to the carrying case and you are ready to go. Publix Shopping

I felt a little extreme last night :) Publix has always intimidated me before since their everyday prices are higher than when I shop at Kroger. However, I had a plan to use my coupons with the sales and it worked! It was definitely a stock up trip!

I looked over my plan and recalculated a million times yesterday in fear that I had missed something. You know when you have a plan for $80 and only plan to spend $5 there has to be something you are missing, right?!

5 Mt Olive pickles and relish
8 Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
6 Green Giant Frozen Vegetables
4 Green Giant Canned Vegetables
2 Hunts Tomato Sauce
5 Wishbone Salad Dressings
2 Ricola Cough Drops

Total Coupons after doubling: $35.20
Total Store Savings: $38.14
I paid: $8.79!

It actually should have been lower by about $4.75, but I ended up going to a different Publix and found out last minute they didn’t accept Target has a competitor :(  Still it was 89% savings!

I also wasn’t able to get the Sargento cheese that I wanted… That would have been super. Just a reminder not to go on the last day of the sale 30 mins before the close!
