Free Men’s Deodorant/Bodywash at Walgreens!

Here’s your deal. Walgreens has Right Guard products for BOGO this week. In today’s RedPlum insert from the news paper on the inside of the cover page there is a Right Guard by one get one Body Wash or Deodorant Free.  So here is what the deal looks like:

1 Right Guard Deodorant
1 Right Guard Body Wash/or Deodorant
1 BOGO Right Guard Coupon
= both free + tax

Think of it this way. The Walgreen sale is BOGO so think if it making the deodorant as free. Then the coupon covers the bodywash.

Some stores you may have resistance so you may want to take the Walgreens Coupon Policy  along which indicates a coupon can be used with a BOGO sale.

I spent around $5 on 3 newspapers today. I turned around pulled my BOGO coupons from the paper and went back in to get my 3 deodorants and 3 body washes. I saved $27.44 easily making up for the newspaper fees.

Scott’s Liquid Gold Clean Screen – Review

My newest product to try out was Liquid Gold’s Clean Screen. If you know us you know we are a highly electronic family. Katelyn, 2, already knows how to get to the different applications on my phone :)  I thought this review would be very fitting for us. Electronics are expensive and making them last becomes a  priority. Benefits of the Scott’s Liquid Gold Clean Screen:

Has no Tap Water, Ammonia or Alcohol
Won’t Deteriorate or discolor or harm delicate surfaces
Leaves no residue
Doesn’t streak or smudge (big plus!!)

Not only do they have the Clean Screen spray they also have the Little Clean Screen which is basically a little wet wipe designed for electronics. So if you are traveling you can always have things clean. Usage ideas for Little Clean Screen: CDs/DVDs, glasses, and keyboards. The wipes do contain alcohol though unlike the spray. I used the wipes on my phone. It wipes Katelyn’s grubby prints off.

 

We have typically used the brand Monster screen cleaners. Troy being stuck in his ways didn’t want to try the Liquid Gold version on the TVs. I did it anyway…Shhh…. Don’t tell, okay!? See the Monster brand we have you basically have to buff out. It takes a lot of effort to get it to look clean and not worse than when you started.

We have a toddler and an 82 in TV those two do not mix well! Imagine the arm work out I would get trying to buff the screen of the 82 in! No, thank you. I used the Liquid Gold Screen Clean spray and I was so pleasantly suprised. There was no buffing. It removed the finger prints and I didn’t have to clean the whole screen to do it! So I would recommend this if you don’t want to have to buff to a clean.

Looks like the Scott’s Liquid Gold Clean Screenspray is about $6.99 on Amazon and is similarly priced in store. It is available at Walmart and other national retailers. Seems like the spray would last a while.

How to use an Ad Match Up

Coupons

To get the most out of a store’s sale and your coupons you need to match them up. That is basically what bloggers do for you. I typically cover Kroger Ad Match Ups and Publix Ad Match ups right now. You can see all Ad Match Ups here.

Now there is no magical way to do this. It takes a lot of work. First, the blogger has to either type up each item or copy and paste somehow. Both are time consuming and require editing. Once you have it all in writing you compare each item to a Coupon Database. Adding in each coupon that is relevantto the sale item. This can be a little subjective since you don’t always know what exactly is included in the sale. I also include a final price for each item after coupons are applied and doubled (if allowed). Personally, I do not like to use a match up unless it has the final price.  Also keep in mind… Most bloggers do not have access to the ad earlier than the day it is released.

Now you need to know how to read the match up here is an example:

So that is the basics of reading a coupon match up. So now you just find one for the stores you shop at. Find the items you are wanting to get this week. Print or gather your coupons. I have recently, started writing our a specific list of items and coupons I want to get. I like knowing what my total is going to be.
