Keep Track of Your Savings!

How to use coupons

Saving with coupons is great, but is it worth your time? Many will tell you that clipping coupons are a waste of time. Well, you can learn for yourself that it is worth it! Keep track of your coupon savings this year with my coupon spreadsheet. There is nothing better than to see all your hard work combined adding up all your savings! I wish I could tell you how much I saved last year, but I lost track shortly after I found out I was in my first trimester. This year I am determined to keep track of my savings so I can see how much I saved all year not just on a few receipts.

Things you may want to keep track of beyond what I have listed:
*Gift Cards: if you used a gift card that was free money so you saved even more
*Did you pay for your newspaper, coupons or inserts? That cost you a little out of your savings
*Clearance items don’t usually show on your receipt, but add to your overall savings so be sure to add it to your totals.
*Freebies have a retail value too!

Start the New Year off with It’s a Coupon Life Savings Spreadsheet! You can download it here as an excel file.
